I am a yoga and meditation teacher at Ananda, a spiritual community of followers of Paramhansa Yogananda. I live in Ananda Village, one of the Ananda communities in northern California. In 2014 I left my career in Computer Science in Los Angeles to live and teach the practical teachings of yoga, eventually moving to Ananda Village. While I still employ my training as a programmer, I focus on the use of technology to bring awareness and expansion of consciousness, such as sharing the teachings through social media and blogs, teaching programming, and writing apps for meditation and yoga. In my spare time, I practice and teach meditation and yoga, regularly write blogs on yoga and spiritual teachings, and run an organic juice bar in Ananda Village.

Ananda Yoga and Meditation are based on the highest ancient yogic practices of India. In particular, they are based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, who brought yoga to the west in the 1920s, and his direct disciple Swami Kriyananda, who founded the Ananda spiritual communities.
